1.1 Personal Information
The Airlift/Tanker Association understands your desire to protect personal information. We don't disclose any personal data on you to anyone outside of the Association and we never disclose your SSN Last-4 to anyone. We intend to inform you how your personal information will be gathered, tracked or used, and to give you choices. Please select one of the communication channels at the bottom of this statement to specify any special communication preferences.

We request personal information when you become a member, register for the annual convention, request a service, correspond with us or engage in certain other activities on our website. For example:
- If you register for a convention on-line with us, we will ask you for personal and financial information necessary to complete the transaction - such as your name, address, and credit card number, and data for making name badges .
- If you request association membership online, we will ask you for personal and financial information necessary to complete the transaction — such as your name address and information about your employment in order to better serve you individually.
You make the decision whether to proceed with any activity that requests personal information. If you do not wish to provide the requested information, however, you may not be able to complete the transaction or receive the service.

We use personally identifiable information in the following ways
- To provide you with information about your membership status, issues, and services;
- Send you your copy of the A/TQ publication;
- To assist us in creating a program that is relevant to you;
- To provide membership renewal notices
- To allow you to become a member and attend functions at the member rate;
- To provide you with information that may be of interest to you;
- To assist us in creating better products and services to meet your needs;
- To help you quickly find information important to you.
with whom we may share your information
From time to time, we may provide your information to Association Chapters so that they may communicate to you information about services that they believe are important to you or your activity. If you prefer that we not provide your information to our Association partners, you may let us know using one of the methods described in this policy.
At the conclusion of the annual Convention and Symposium, an attendance roster without ranks will be made available for a short period to members and registrants only. This PDF roster will be searchable and printable; but the data will not be electronically extractable. If you prefer that we not provide your contact information to other attendees you may let us know using one the methods described in this policy.
The Airlift/Tanker Association retains the services of outside contractors to provide services for us. They may be used to ship products, provide technical support, or handle membership and registration processing. We require that these contractors keep the personal information of customers secure and confidential. We also require that these contractors use personal information only on behalf of The Airlift/Tanker Association.
Please be advised that in certain instances, it may be necessary for The Airlift/Tanker Association to disclose your personal information to government officials or otherwise as required by our legal obligations.

You may choose to mail or fax information rather than send electronically. You may choose to not receive the A/TQ publication. You may choose to be omitted from the Convention roster. We may offer you these choices at the time you give us your information. If you do not wish to continue receiving our e-mail, newsletters or publications, you can opt-out of receiving these communications by communicating with us directly.
1.2 Security and Quality of Personal Information
We have taken
security measures, consistent with international information practices,
to protect your personal information. These measures include technical
and procedural steps to protect your data from misuse, unauthorized
access or disclosure, loss, alteration, or destruction. Credit
card information is transmitted using secure sockets layer (SSL)
encryption.
Since The Airlift/Tanker Association is global, we provide association
information on individual members to our worldwide chapters. The
personal information (other than SSN last-4 and credit-card information)
that you have provided to us may be transferred to Airlift/Tanker
Association Chapters around the world.
We make a sincere effort to respond to your requests to update
or correct your personal information. If you believe that The
Airlift/Tanker Association does not have your current personal
information, you can update it by one of the communication methods
