Individual-Award Recipient Benefits

• PLEASE NOTE: Obviously, there are many other AMC awards not specifically sponsored by A/TA. If the individual award you won is not on our list on this website, these benefit instructions do not apply! Some Wing-level awards confer free membership for a chosen lot. These do no confer individual-award status.
• A/TA gives/adds a year's membership to all A/TA award winners.
  • All Awardees must individually register. Please do it online. Awardees travel at the government's convenience and should seek unit TDY reimbursement as appropriate. A/TA does NOT pay for room or registration. The fee will be determined by when awardee registers (early, pre, or onsite)!
  • We can see dues status and will credit Awardees when they register. Awardee should put a comment in the "Remarks to Registrar" block that they are an award winner and what their free guest's badge name should be.
• A/TA will pay full attendance registration for one (otherwise-unfunded) guest of the awardee (not for the awardee or other government-funded guest).
  • The first guest should be indicated on the Awardee's registration form: Only give badge info in the remarks; do not check any guest registration blocks.
  • Award winners who wish to have more than the one guest attend any or all of the events must pay all costs for the additional guest(s). These additional social guests, e.g., parents, are not required to pay membership. Please call Bud and Pam at 703-385-2802 with their badge name and particulars.
  • If additional guest would like to be a member, they should register normally and make a notation in the remarks which awardee they are a guest of.
• A/TA will provide up to $200 for additional travel expenses (not clothes, etc.) incurred by one Award Winner's complimentary guest (not covered by other payments). Award winners should use this form to request the stipend. No receipts are required with the form—if the individual needs the stipend, he or she will get it.
• A/TA will block (not pay for) one double room for each awardee in the primary hotel. Awardees should "claim" that reservation by contacting Col (Ret) Barb Jacob at AMC at 618-229-7899.
• A/TA will seat the Awardee and one guest at special tables up front. Coordinate the nearby seating of additional guests at banquetseating@atalink.org.
• Award Winners should plan to arrive Wednesday, the day before (for an orientation early Thursday) and depart on Sunday with everyone else. (The arrival date may change until removal of this warning or an authorative communication from AMC!)
