A/TA Selects Theme for 2017 Convention

Following the Winter Board meeting at Scott AFB, IL, in February, the Airlift/Tanker Association Board of Officers selected the theme for the 2017 convention – Mobility Airmen:  Agile, Innovative, and Ready to Roll.

The 2017 Airlift/Tanker Association and Air Mobility Command Symposium and A/TA Air Mobility Technology Exhibition will be held at the Orlando World Center Marriott, Orlando, FL.  The convention will run from Thursday, October 26, to Sunday, October 29.

This will be the 49th year since the Association founders gathered and began the reunion tradition which continues to be the basis of our annual gathering.  This year, A/TA anticipates a number of major address speakers to include General Carlton D. Everhart II, commander of Air Mobility Command.  There will also be approximately 36 seminars on a range of topics from current military personnel issues to mobility heritage – consistent in quality with those in the past conventions!

The convention also includes the Air Mobility Technology Exhibition where attendees have the opportunity to walk through the technology exhibition hall and talk to industry representatives about current and future technology.  We anticipate more than 90 exhibitors this year.

On-line registration will open in early summer.

The Airlift/Tanker Association is a non-profit, professional association with our membership consisting primarily of U.S. Air Force active duty, Reserve, Guard, and retired military personnel, as well as civilian and industrial supporters of the air mobility mission.
