A/TA 50th Anniversary Heritage Room Challenge/Game Results

This year the A/TA Heritage Room offered all attendees several opportunities to compete in Challenges/Games testing their knowledge at Heritage Trivia and their interpersonal and leadership skills in The Heritage Race (think “Amazing Race”). Also, every visitor to the Heritage Room received a free ticket for a “50 for 50” drawing with and nine lucky mobility airmen and supporters taking home a gift card. In all, over $1,500 in prizes were awarded to 12 individuals and four teams!  Congratulations to ALL who took the opportunity to participate in our A/TA Heritage Challenges! AND HUGE THANK YOU to The Altus Military Affairs Committee and Lockheed Martin Corporation for supporting and sponsoring the Challenges. In addition, we want thank ALL A/TA Sponsors and Exhibitors for their continued support, especially the 15 who participated in the Heritage Race. We look forward to increasing the participation and prizes in Orlando next year!


Global Reach Heritage Race Winners

The Global Reach Heritage Race challenged two-person teams to navigate the Exhibition Hall and meet 15 participating A/TA Sponsors and Exhibitors and answer a specific question regarding the sponsors’ company and/or Mobility Heritage. One Team completed the course in a record time of 18 hours crossing the finish line at 12:01 pm on October 26th! Congratulations to Major Megan Gallagher and Captain Julie Quach from the US Air Force Expeditionary Center, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. Both received a $100 Gift Card and a Three-year A/TA membership!

A/TA Heritage Trivia Challenge

The Heritage Room sponsored the first ever A/TA Heritage Trivia Challenge Friday night, October 26th.  12 Teams competed for $500, $250 and $100 prizes. The teams were tested on their knowledge of mobility heritage and history focused on this year’s theme: Heritage, Heroes, Horizons.  The Challenge consisted of 30 questions plus two bonus questions for a total of 100 points. The following Teams took home 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards:
