City of Altus Oklahoma Economic Development Corp

The City of Altus Oklahoma and Altus Air Force Base have formed a legendary partnership over nearly 50 years.  Through such events as Quarterly Newcomers Welcomes, Farm-City Week, financial support for Airlift Rodeo and annual air shows the city devotes time, talent and money to Altus AFB.  We welcome not only the economic impact from Altus AFB but the vibrancy and diversity the base brings to our town.  This year we partner with AAFB personnel to show that an assignment to Altus AFB can be personally and professionally rewarding to potential instructor cadre.  Altus is growing and changing.  We’d like to invite all y’all to come spend a tour at Altus, get reacquainted with your families and enjoy southwest Oklahoma hospitality at its best.  ALTUS a city and base with a FUTURE.
