Except for the Banquet on Saturday night and
the Sunday Brunch, all refreshment events take place in the
exhibit hall and, therefore, in and among the
exhibits. (Please note that there will be no pre-banquet reception this year.)
We expect well over 4500 attendees. About two-thirds
are active/ARC military and more than a third of
those are enlisted. You can expect to be able to
talk to the wrench bender, the wrench bender's boss
and then get the senior leadership's take on the
same subjects, all in a friendly environment -
yours.
While the Symposium schedule will not be
published before being handed out at the
convention you can see general overview and block diagram [when available]. To propose topics, contact the Symposium Chairman, Jeff Bigelow. Association Members can
Login to myATA to obtain a link to last
year's schedule for a general idea of
types of activities and speakers. You will need to enter
the SSN Last-4 that you gave when you joined or registered. The basic '09 convention overview [when available] can be printed out with the pdf version of the registration form.
The Airlift/Tanker Association's goal is to
provide exhibit hall space to all interested
parties on an equitable but prioritized basis.
- We first take requests for space in the hall
from our Industry Partners
- Then we take requests for space from those
who exhibited at our last convention
- Then we take requests from our new
exhibitors.
- Some Government agencies may, if space permits, receive one space Pro-Bono.
a. The free space may be outside the exhibit hall
b. Additional spaces may be purchased at a reduced rate; however, such purchase will not include any free exhibitor registrations.
For planning purposes, please see Exhibit Space details for expanded explanation of 2009 fees and the space-allocation timetable (exact 2009 timetable in progress).
Within each category, priority is based on
payment receipt (postmark) of at least 50% of the
booth fees. However, best management of the space
within the exhibit hall will determine the final
floor plan. If changes are required, every effort
will be made to ensure any exhibitors displaced
receive equivalent or better space.
Notes:
While most exhibitors obtain a regular full
registration for the convention, there is a special
Exhibit-floor-only
rate that may be useful in certain
circumstances.
